Coco Luxe

March 15, 2011

Since I intern at a magazine in my county, I help proof and create advertisements for local businesses that constantly have me saying “they run in ad with us” as I drive around nearby towns. Stepping into the patisserie Coco Luxe in Peapack this weekend made me feel like I was back in Europe again. Above was an absolutely delicious brie, arugula and raspberry compote sandwich on a fresh homemade baguette that I had for lunch.

The interior design of the bakery had an authentic Parisian feel complete with chairs imported from France and a bathroom wallpapered in black and white toile print. I loved how the chair and tile patterns complimented one another.

Pretty French prints that outfitted the walls.

The delicious palmiers had just the right combination of crispy, flaky and a hint of sweet glaze.

A heavenly lemon macaroon with lemon cream filling. Very subtle flavors that left me wanting more.
