Lipgloss Experimentation 101

January 6, 2011

This “experiment” is about as scientific as I’ll ever get. I read a while ago that you can salvage your nearly empty lipgloss by placing it in warm water, so I decided to give it a try. My tube wasn’t completely full, but I was surprised by how much easier it was to get the gloss out of the tube instead of scraping the sides. The steps were easy: fill up a mug with warm (nearly hot) water and submerge your gloss into the water for about 15 minutes. Depending on how warm you made your water and how big or small your tube is, you might find that your gloss will be ready in less than 15 minutes, so it’s probably best to keep an eye on it.
